If you have any questions about joining Alpine Meadows National Ski Patrol, or the schedule below, contact Candidate Coordinators, Dave Barry - dwberry@yahoo.com, and John Phelan - johnp@occamsoft.com.

As a candidate you can patrol on non-training days as long as you're with an Alpine Meadows National Ski Patroller. This means that you can show up on any weekend and hook up with a patroller. For midweek patrolling, check ahead of time via email on the listserv to see if anyone will be there.

You'll wear your patrol belt and a candidate "bib" or arm band, and will help with our regular patrol duties. It's a great way to learn the routine and have a lot of fun making turns! Early season consideration: MUST have a valid OEC card and required AMNSP equipment.

Our "out-the-door" time is 8:30am. You must be in the patrol room no later than 8:10 to sign on and receive the morning briefing. Allow time to park at the bottom of the road and ride the shuttle up. We're subject to the same rules as full time employees.
