Alpine Meadows

A. Transfers shall patrol with an authorized trainer for a minimum of 8 days prior to wearing an Alpine Meadows jacket. Trainers are to be authorized by our Alpine pro patrol representative in conjunction with the AMNSP patrol leader, or his designate. Download transfer checklist, and work with designated patrollers to sigh off each category.

B. Transfers must receive the liability and accident report training. The training will be made available on an individual basis for those not at our refresher.

C. Transfers must attend our on the hill refresher. Should they transfer in after the on the hill, they must demonstrate satisfactory ski and toboggan handling skills.

D. Transfers must be properly equipped with beacon, shovel, and probe poles by the end of their training period.

E. Valid OEC, CPR, and NSP registration cards are required, and AMNSP dues must be paid. Properly registered transferees are entitled to the same benefits as regular patrollers during the training period.

F. Transfers with less than 2 years patrolling experience will go through our full candidate training program.
